In some of my previous blogs, we focused on how you can start thriving in your life by creating a vision and a plan to get you where you want to be.  This week, we’re adding another layer and it requires some introspection!

We want you to move yourself to your best life. In order to do that, you must know yourself.  That’s right, this step is all about becoming an expert on the most important person in your life – YOU.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • What do you like about yourself? Even the smallest thing counts!
  • What are the aspects of yourself that you would change?
  • In an ideal world, how much would you exercise and what kind of exercise would you do?
  • What would you look like if your life was thriving?
  • What kind of energy would emit?
  • How would you make other people feel?
  • How would you feel?

Check-up!

Now that you’ve got yourself mentally prepared, you need to make sure that you are physically prepared to get moving! See your doctor and take an active role in your health. Ask questions and take notes. Be an expert on YOUR health. Remember, your body is only one you’ve got!

Become a F.A.N.

Ourfitness and nutrition club isn’t one of those trendy gimmicks that focuses on looking sexy in a swim suit – although, it will help with that! When you become a F.A.N., you receive interactive, personalized recommendations in a program that is doctor-designed, especially for you.  You’ll have access to a health tracker, nutrition and fitness assessments, plus a cardio log. It’s a comprehensive way to manage your progress and realize your vision of your best life.

Share Your Vision with a Friend

It’s easy to take action and get off to a great start with a new lifestyle and fitness routine, but it’s not so easy to stick with it! We recommend working with a partner to hold you accountable and be your personal cheerleader.  Whether that person is someone you call on the phone, or someone who works out right beside you, having a friend in your corner will increase your chances of success.

You can also up your accountability and the number of cheerleaders you have by sharing your story on social media. Share your story of how you’re moving to your best life on Twitter with the tagging your post #UmuvU and #GuideToThrive. Post pictures of your workouts or healthy recipes on Instagram or share them on my Dr.VondaWright Facebook page so that entire UmuvU community can cheer you on and encourage you to thrive!
